Headquarter Telekom Group, Budapest, project: TIBA Studio
Designed by the Hungarian firm TIBA Architectural Studio and built by Market Építő, the headquarters of the Telekom Group is located in the IX district of Budapest in a strategic location between the airport and city centre.
The new headquarters, which is the biggest office complex ever built in one single construction block, extends over an area of approximately 55,000 m² accommodating over 4000 staff working for Telekom and T-System, the group’s two companies.
The project was tailor-made to meet the specific needs of the Telekom Group, the nation’s leading supplier of telecommunications services.
Thanks to its easily accessible position, high energy efficiency equipment, and solutions designed to provide all the staff with a healthy workplace, the building is one of the most innovative of its kind in the country and fully complies to the principles of sustainability.
Inside the building there is a conference centre catering for up to 3000 people, two restaurants, a wellness & fitness centre, 2000 m² of interior garden, 1350 parking spaces, parking facilities for 350 bikes, and 50 charging stations for electric vehicles.
The Italgraniti Group, a dynamic business that has been operating in the ceramics industry for over twenty years, is a key player in this project through its ‘Striato White’-coloured Stone Mix collection used for all the flooring, due to the high performance ratings it guarantees: resistance to wear-and-tear/bad weather/staining and ease of cleaning/maintenance.
Stone Mix is inspired by the world of natural stone (quartz, slate, travertine and limestone) and is the result of a very precise digital process for getting rid of any flaws in colour, maintaining only the best hues and shades to create a perfectly designed balance of colours and veining.
