Atlas Beach Fest, Bali, Indonesia, project : CNS Works Design
CNS Works Design, an international firm based in Jakarta (Indonesia), has chosen Atlas Concorde stone-effect porcelain stoneware for flooring large areas of Atlas Beach Fest, the biggest beach club in Bali where an international vocation for tourism and attention to local identity come together perfectly.
At this prestigious setting covering 26,000 square metres overlooking Berawa seafront, Atlas Concorde introduced both the excellence of Italian design/manufacturing and the charm of the stone effect of the Norde collection. The aim was to support the designers in creating of a powerfully recognisable stylistic mix of the location’s extraordinary oriental identity and the luxurious, welcoming nature of the Mediterranean beach clubs that Atlas Beach Fest is trying to evoke.
Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware contributed to enhancing the mix of wood, stone and elegant furnishing fabrics characterising those inevitable Indonesian canopy beds, thanks to the material’s natural and authentic force.
Inspired by the luminosity and endless colour variations of quartzite and beola, Norde creates surfaces with a powerful, textured appearance as it faithfully reproduces the natural roughness of the original stone and draws on the technical advantages of porcelain stoneware in terms of durability and ease of maintenance.
Norde’s four colours have allowed the designers to carefully modulate the space’s chromatic effects without losing any of the technical properties of Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware, making it the ideal solution for projects with a real vocation for design in settings where the properties of materials are vital.
Atlas Concorde porcelain stoneware is, indeed, resistant to footfall, healthy and slip-proof, an unbeatable mix of safety and good looks at the service of the most innovative projects.
