Campus Bocconi, Milano, Italy, project: SANAA Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa
@BeppeRaso
In this project designed by SANAA - Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, for the new Bocconi Campus in Milan a sense of transparency and openness is fostered throughout, with exterior walls clad in an undulating translucent screen.
For the new Bocconi campus, which is part of a broader development that considers environmental sustainability, energy saving, and optimal landscaping, Lualdi, Italian brand leader for interior doors, supplied 156 Rasomuro flat and curved doors, 78 sliding doors and 19 Wall&Door systems for classrooms’ entries at the basement floor.
Each door is fully customized to perfectly fit architectural and project needs. The particular feature is the curved surface of Rasomuro doors – following building’ shape – deriving from a special and consolidated manufacturing know-how.
