JDP ARCHITECTS, CHORUS LIFE, BERGAMO, ITALIE
Designed by the Milanese architect Joseph di Pasquale and built in Bergamo, Chorus life is an innovative smart city and a model of urban regeneration based on social, technological and environmental values.
The project, which includes a 6,000-seat modular Arena, an Immersive SPA covering roughly 9,000 square meters, a 4-star hotel, a residential complex of 76 apartments, green spaces, shopping outlets, dining and entertainment, has resulted in the regeneration of an urban plot of about 150,000 square meters, simultaneously stitching back together the neighbourhood’s social fabric, and encouraging socialising as the key foundation of sustainability.
The newest addition to this important smart district is ae new Immersive SPA designed by Studio RAL3020 that opened this year. The spa fits in perfectly with all the other facilities, which have been in operation since 2024, to complete this model of an urban “campus” focused on quality of life.
The first Italian spa to combine architecture, sound design and olfactory identity has a wellness layout divided into five theme areas — Rome, Japan, Himalayas, Morocco, Nordic Countries — each with its own distinct eco-friendly architecture.
The whole complex is built over multiple levels with panoramic terraces incorporated in architecture focused on perceptual comfort, no queuing, respect for personal space, and smooth circulation. The spacious layout is the key to the overall experience: you can move, choose and take a break at your own pace.
