Sidera CIA Conad Headquarter, Forlì, Italy project:

tissellistudioarchitetti

Designed by tissellistudioarchitetti, Sidera CIA Conad Headquarters are located in the outskirts of Forlì and are intended to help regenerate the area. Surrounded by 300 trees and 22,000 plants and entirely powered by a photovoltaic system, it is a beacon of innovation and environmental responsibility. The key features of this emblematic project include AGC solar-controlled glass.

The Sidera building extends horizontally over a length of 100 metres and a height of 33 and is built on a base measuring approximately 3 metres in height. Its large transparent façades create a harmonious balance between the interior and exterior and optimise the inflow of natural light that  floods into all the work spaces.

The façades are triple glazed with AGC's Stopray Smart 51/33 solar control glass on the outside, providing an optimal balance between solar control and light transmission.

In addition to the 5000 square metres of glazed façade, Sidera stands out for the use of two other elegant and discreet materials: aluminium in the form of six kilometres of vertical fins and black pigmented concrete. The natural aluminium used for the fins elegantly reflects natural light, taking on different colours and patterns at different times of day and according to the weather.

The precepts of neuro-architecture have guided most of the design choices, which focused on finding the ideal working space. Thus, external factors, such as light, air, sounds and visuals, enter the building in the form of calibrated and controlled architectural components and not merely as necessary occurrences.
