Dans les espaces captivants de son nouveau siège 2, place du Palais-Royal à Paris, œuvre de Jean Nouvel, la Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain présente jusqu’au 23 août 2026 “Exposition Générale”. Une occasion unique de découvrir près de 600 œuvres de plus de 100 artistes du monde entier, parmi lesquels Claudia Andujar, James Turrell, Sarah Sze, Olga de Amaral, Junya Ishigami, Solange Pessoa, David Lynch, Annette Messager, Cai Guo-Qiang, Diller Scofidio + RENFRO, ou encore Chéri Samba.

In the captivating spaces of its new site 2, place du Palais-Royal in Paris, designed by Jean Nouvel, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presents until 23 August 2026 “Exposition Générale” offering the chance to discover nearly six hundred art works by more than one hundred artists from all over the world, including Claudia Andujar, James Turrell, Sarah Sze, Olga de Amaral, Junya Ishigami, Solange Pessoa, David Lynch, Annette Messager, Cai Guo-Qiang, Diller Scofidio + RENFRO and Chéri Samba.

Nei bellissimi spazi firmati da Jean Nouvel, della sua nuova sede al 2 di Place du Palais-Royal a Parigi, la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presenta fino al 23 agosto 2026 “Exposition Générale”. Un’occasione unica per scoprire – o riscoprire – quasi seicento opere di oltre cento artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo, tra cui Claudia Andujar, James Turrell, Sarah Sze, Olga de Amaral, Junya Ishigami, Solange Pessoa, David Lynch, Annette Messager, Cai Guo-Qiang, Diller Scofidio + RENFRO e Chéri Samba.

L’exposition est organisée autour de quatre grands ensembles thématiques, esquissant une cartographie alternative de la création contemporaine qui réinterprète le modèle de l’encyclopédie muséale : un laboratoire architectural éphémère (Machines d’architecture), une réflexion sur les mondes vivants et leur préservation (Être nature), un espace d’expérimentation des matériaux et des techniques (Making things), et des récits prospectifs mêlant science, technologie et fiction (Un monde réel).

Organized around four major thematic ensembles, the exhibition proposes an alternative cartography of contemporary creation that reimagines the model of the “encyclopedic museum”. Instead, it unfolds as: a fleeting architectural laboratory (Machines d’architecture), a reflection on living worlds and their preservation (Être nature), a space of experimentation in terms of materials and techniques (Making Things), and an exploration of future-oriented narratives combining science, technology, and fiction (Un monde réel).

La mostra è organizzata attorno a quattro grandi gruppi tematici, che delineano una cartografia alternativa della creazione contemporanea reinterpretando il modello dell'enciclopedia museale: un laboratorio architettonico effimero (Machines d’architecture), una riflessione sui mondi viventi e sulla loro conservazione (Être nature), uno spazio per sperimentare materiali e tecniche (Making Things), e narrazioni prospettiche che fondono scienza, tecnologia e finzione (Un monde réel).
