The works explore historical, geographical and socially marginalized regions of the contemporary world and engage with those who inhabit them. The artists focus on what lies on the threshold of perception: the virtually forgotten and buried away in lands and times, the infinitely small, the peripheral, the latent, the underground, the forgotten…

Three main themes run through the exhibition: 'Pulsations of the World' brings together works focused on visible and invisible rhythms; 'The Future in the Past' explores memories, survival and narratives, both seamless and interrupted; 'Living and Dwelling' combines works dedicated to forms of habitat, fragile territories and minimal living realms.
