La galerie Minimasterpiece, dans le 7e arrondissement à Paris, présente jusqu’au 25 octobre la collection de bijoux Plis signée par Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost. Bagues, manchettes, boucles à oreille,  des objets sculpturaux et précieux que la créatrice, qui travaille à côté de Dominique Perrault comme directrice artistique et d’aménagement intérieur de l’agence, a conçu transformant un matériau industriel comme la maille métallique en élément noble Détourner des objets industriels en motifs esthétiques, sensibles, domestiques et portables est au cœur de son travail.

Minimasterpiece Gallery in Paris's 7^th arrondissement is showing Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost's Plis jewellery collection through to 25^th October. Rings, bracelets, earrings, sculptural and precious artefacts that the designer, who works alongside Dominique Perrault as the agency’s art and interior director, has designed by transforming an industrial material like wire mesh into something noble. Turning industrial artefacts into aesthetic, sensitive, domestic and wearable designs is at the very focus of her work.

La galleria Minimasterpiece, nel VII arrondissement di Parigi, presenta fino al 25 ottobre la collezione di gioielli Plis di Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost. Anelli, bracciali, orecchini, oggetti scultorei e preziosi che la designer, che lavora al fianco di Dominique Perrault come direttore artistico e d'interni dell'agenzia, ha progettato trasformando un materiale industriale come la rete metallica in un elemento nobile. Trasformare oggetti industriali in motivi estetici, sensibili, domestici e indossabili è al centro del suo lavoro.

Avec cette collection Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost utilise la maille métallique, l’un des matériaux privilégiés de l’agence DPA, consolidé grâce a un partenariat avec l’entreprise allemande GKD, façonnant des pièces sensuelles et à la personnalité marquée. L’élasticité de la maille du bracelet assure un ajustement parfait au poignet, comme une seconde peau à l’esthétique raffinée et brute. La même joyeuse trouvaille permet d’écrire la bague qui prend la forme d’un insecte ou d’un papillon, montée sans jonc, simplement pincée ou les boucles d’oreille sous les traits d’une fleur en trompette ou d’une volée de marches... Les bijoux sont réalisés en exemplaires limités par les Édition MiniMasterpiece.

In this collection Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost uses wire mesh, one of the DPA agency's favourite materials, consolidated thanks to its partnership with the German company GKD, to create sensual artefacts  with real character. The elasticity of the bracelet's mesh ensures a perfect fit on the wrist, like a second skin that looks raw yet elegant. The same joyful discovery gives shape to the ring that looks like an insect or a butterfly mounted without any edge, simply pinched, and also the earrings designed in the shape of a trumpet flower or flight of steps... The jewellery is made in limited editions by MiniMasterpiece Edition.

Con questa collezione, Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost utilizza la rete metallica, uno dei materiali preferiti dall'agenzia DPA, consolidato grazie alla partnership con l'azienda tedesca GKD, dando forma a pezzi sensuali e dalla forte personalità. L'elasticità della maglia del bracciale garantisce una perfetta aderenza al polso, come una seconda pelle dall'estetica raffinata e grezza. La stessa gioiosa scoperta da forma all'anello dalle sembianze di un insetto o di una farfalla, montato senza bordino, semplicemente pizzicato o sugli orecchini a forma di fiore a trombetta o di una rampa di scalini... I gioielli sono realizzati in copie limitate dalla MiniMasterpiece Edition.
