AN IMMERSIVE WORK

YACINE AÏT KACI, ARCHIPEL, UNOC 2025 NICE, FRANCE

ARCHIPEL est une œuvre immersive de Yacine Aït Kaci, présentée par le Groupe AFD (Agence Française du développement) dans le cadre de l’UNOC, la Conférence des Nations Unies sur l’Océan qui s’est tenue à Nice du 9 au 13 juin 2025. Elle met en lumière les solutions de 14 organisations engagées pour l’Océan et ses communautés à travers un univers fantastique qui explore les liens entre solidarité, transition écologique et coopération internationale.

ARCHIPEL is an immersive work by Yacine Aït Kaci presented by the AFD Group (French Development Agency) as part of the UNOC, the United Nations Ocean Conference, held in Nice from 9^th-13^th June 2025. The work showcases projects put forward by 14 organisations committed to safeguarding the oceans and its communities, all designed in their own imaginative ways to explore the links between solidarity, the ecological transition and international cooperation.

ARCHIPEL è un'opera immersiva di Yacine Aït Kaci, presentata dal Gruppo AFD (Agenzia Francese per lo Sviluppo) nell'ambito dell'UNOC, la Conferenza delle Nazioni Unite sull’Oceano, che si è tenuta a Nizza dal 9 al 13 giugno 2025. L'opera mette in luce le soluzioni di 14 organizzazioni impegnate nella salvaguardia degli oceani e delle sue comunità, attraverso un universo fantastico che esplora i legami tra solidarietà, transizione ecologica e cooperazione internazionale.

Fasciné par l’imaginaire des îles flottantes, Yacine Aït Kaci travaille depuis deux ans avec des intelligences artificielles génératives qu’il a patiemment éduquées, pour leur transmettre ses goûts, son style, sa vision afin d'imaginer et créer l’univers cet ensemble d’îles symboliques qui reflètent les valeurs d’un monde plus durable.

Fascinated by the imaginary world of floating islands, for two years now Yacine Aït Kaci has been working with generative artificial intelligences, which he has patiently trained to comprehend and grasp his tastes, style and vision, in order to envisage and create a universe formed out of this group of symbolic islands reflecting the values of a more sustainable world.

Affascinato dal mondo immaginario delle isole galleggianti, Yacine Aït Kaci lavora da due anni con intelligenze artificiali generative, che ha pazientemente addestrato, per trasmettere loro i suoi gusti, il suo stile e la sua visione, al fine di immaginare e creare l'universo di questo gruppo di isole simboliche che riflettono i valori di un mondo più sostenibile.

Dans l’univers d’ARCHIPEL, six histoires s’entrelacent comme les vagues d’une même mer. Elles nous plongent dans le quotidien de femmes, d’hommes et d’enfants qui, chacun à leur manière, protègent les écosystèmes marins, inventent des formes de solidarité et imaginent un avenir durable. Six different stories intertwine in the world of ARCHIPEL like the waves in one single sea. They immerse us in the daily lives of women, men and children, who, each in their own way, protect marine ecosystems, invent forms of solidarity and envisage a sustainable future.
