Peter Donders (Leut, 1965) est un designer belge qui travaille en combinant son expérience dans la fabrication de meubles et d’objets en bois à une expertise technologique et à ses expérimentions autour de l'impression 3D et de la fibre de carbone. Peter Donders (Leut, 1965) is a Belgian designer whose experimentation is focused on combining his experience in woodworking and furniture manufacturing with technological expertises and experimentation with 3D printing and carbon fibre.  His latest works include the Spherene coffee table designed in partnership with 3D System, an American company specialising in 3D printing. This is an important example of how cutting-edge 3D modelling and design software can optimise the use of materials while improving their structural integrity.

Peter Donders (Leut, 1965) è un designer belga che fonda la sua ricerca coniugando un’esperienza nella lavorazione del legno e nella fabbricazione di mobile, alle conoscenza tecnologiche e alla sperimentazione  con la stampa 3D e la fibra di carbonio.  Tra gli ultimi suoi lavori il tavolino in  Spherene, realizzato in collaborazione con 3D System, aziende americana specializzata della stampa 3D, è un esempio significativo di come software avanzati di modellazione e progettazione 3D possano ottimizzare l’utilizzo dei materiali migliorandone l’integrità strutturale.

Spherene est fabriquée en Accura AMX™ Tough FR V0 Black, une résine haute performance résistante et ignifuge, particulièrement adaptée à l'impression 3D. Grâce au plugin Spherene pour Rhino 3D, les concepteurs peuvent exploiter des algorithmes avancés pour réduire la quantité de matériau nécessaire sans compromettre la résistance.

Spherene is made from Accura AMX™ Tough FR V0 Black, a particularly resistant and fire-retardant high-performance resin that is ideal for 3D printing. Using the Spherene plugin for Rhino 3D, designers can draw on advanced algorithms to reduce the amount of material needed without compromising strength.

Spherene è realizzato in Accura AMX™ Tough FR V0 Black una resina particolarmente resistente e ignifuga ad alte prestazioni particolarmente adatta alla stampa 3D.
