l'Arca International

It is obvious to everybody now that all Western countries are going through a serious economic and financial downturn, partly due, I believe, to the failure to adapt conventional political-industrial management systems to the extraordinarily global revolution underway in communications all over the planet.

Ideas, images and projects are now instantly exchanged all over the world from person to person, group to group or state to state using increasingly portable devices.

The entire communications system is constantly changing and evolving, which is why we decided our magazine should turn over a new leaf and invite some young new players to totally revolutionise how our magazine expresses itself and communicates, so as to adapt it to the latest reading habits, which even our faithful old readers now expect of us. I genuinely believe that proper information about architecture and design can not only help publicise and promote the most talented young exponents of design and production all over the world, but also help support Europe's economic and industrial system, assisting it in spreading its magnificent projects and products of extraordinary quality by comparing them with what the rest of the world has to offer.

We have combined the present two editions of the magazine into one single trilingual international publication entitled l'Arca International, altering the format and traditional means of presenting its content while attempting to extend and speed up the information provided, maintaining key "blocks" to provide professional standard in-depth information about selected concepts and projects.

I cannot deny it has been an extremely exhausting and exciting enterprise and, while thanking Niccolo, Matteo , Joseph and the entire editorial staff, I will leave it up to you our readers, if you are interested, to pass your own judgement; continuing to read and subscribe to our magazine is the best way you can support our own little revolution.
