Une série de formes organiques se tordent et serpentent sur le sol pour former une suite d’arches qui abritent des espaces intérieurs vitrés et minimalistes. La maison est divisée en deux unités, avec le salon et la cuisine dans l’une, et les chambres à coucher dans l’autre. Un coin salon extérieur relie les deux unités.
A series of organic forms twist and meander together to form a series of arches that house the minimal glass interior spaces below. The house is split into two sections with the lounge and kitchen area in one and the bedrooms in the other. An outside seating area bridges the two.
Una serie di forme organiche si contorce e si snoda insieme per formare una serie di archi che ospitano i minimalisti spazi interni di vetro sottostanti. La casa è divisa in due sezioni con il salone e la cucina in una e le camere da letto nell’altra. Un’area salotto esterna collega le due parti.
À chaque extrémité de la structure, la partie plate du toit reçoit les panneaux solaires, ainsi qu’un spa et un bain à remous auxquels on accède par un escalier en colimaçon qui mène à l’espace central du toit. La structure crée un parcours ludique avec les espaces architecturaux générés par la forme sculpturale torsadée du bâtiment, construit avec du béton de chanvre (Hempcrete), un matériau de construction isolant et léger qui pèse environ un septième ou un huitième du poids du béton.
The flat roof holds the solar panels at each end of the structure and a spa and hot tub accessed by a twisted staircase leading you up to the central roof area. The space becomes a playground with the architectural spaces formed from the twisting sculptural form which explores Hempcrete, a lightweight cementitious insulating material weighing about a seventh or an eighth of the weight of concrete.
Il tetto piano contiene pannelli solari a ciascuna estremità della struttura con una spa e una vasca idromassaggio cui si accede da una scala a chiocciola nella zona centrale del tetto. Lo spazio diventa un parco giochi con gli spazi architettonici formati dalla forma scultorea attorcigliata che utilizza Hempcrete, un bio-composito con proprietà isolanti e che pesa circa un settimo o un ottavo del calcestruzzo.
