THE SIGN, MILANO, ITALY, PROGETTO CMR
Le nouveau complexe de bureaux de dernière génération The Sign est situé dans le sud-est de Milan, près de l'université internationale IULM. Le complexe est né de la transformation d'un ancien site industriel des années 1950.
Built in the south-east area of Milan, the Sign close to the renowned international university IULM. The project will be the result of the requalification of a former industrial site of the 50s.
Sorge nell’area sud-est di Milano, nelle vicinanze dell’università internazionale IULM, il nuovo complesso per uffici di ultima generazione The Sign. Il complesso nasce come riqualificazione di un ex sito industriale degli anni ’50.
L'architecture du nouveau complexe vise à transmettre visuellement la valeur innovante du projet : les trois bâtiments sont reliés par une façade fortement contemporaine et captivante, une série de volets dorés qui alternent avec les transparences du verre dans une séquence vivante et vibrante. Une fracture transparente qui longe toutes les façades constitue le "signe" distinctif du projet.
The architecture of the new complex visually conveys the innovative value of the project, in line with the other blocks in the area: the three buildings share a strongly contemporary façade, a series of golden stripes which alternate with glass transparencies in a vibrant and vivid sequence. A “fracture” that breaks this sequence links the three buildings together and runs through the facades, representing the distinctive “sign” of the project.
L’architettura del nuovo complesso vuole trasmettere visivamente il valore innovativo del progetto: i tre corpi di fabbrica sono accomunati da una facciata fortemente contemporanea e accattivante, una serie di lembi dorati che si alternano alle trasparenze del vetro in una sequenza vivace e vibrante. Una frattura trasparente che corre lungo tutte le facciate e che costituisce il “segno” distintivo del progetto.
La durabilité environnementale et sociale sont les deux points focaux du projet, également conçu pour obtenir la certification LEED Or. En effet, le projet apporte des solutions pour augmenter la viabilité du site, associées à des systèmes de gestion efficace des ressources utilisées par le complexe, comme l'eau et l'énergie: double réseau, récupération des eaux pluviales pour l'irrigation, toitures végétalisées, systèmes de réfrigération innovants, solutions pour améliorer la qualité de l'air et le bien-être thermique à l'intérieur des bâtiments.
Environmental and social sustainability are therefore two focal elements of the project, designed to achieve the LEED Gold certification. Since its initial stages, the project includes solutions to improve the livability of the area and to optimize the use of natural resources: dual water systems, rainwater collection, green roofs, innovative cooling systems, strategies to improve indoor overall quality. In addition, construction works will use local materials as well as certified wood only.
La sostenibilità ambientale e sociale sono i due punti focali dell’intervento, studiato anche per raggiungere la certificazione LEED Gold. Il progetto prevede infatti soluzioni per incrementare la vivibilità del sito, unite a sistemi per una gestione efficiente delle risorse utilizzate dal complesso, come l’acqua e l’energia: rete duale, recupero dell’acqua meteorica per l’irrigazione, tetti verdi, impianti refrigeranti innovativi, soluzioni per il miglioramento della qualità dell’aria e del benessere termico all’interno degli edifici.
