Le projet puise son inspiration dans l'expérience vécue dans les œuvres de l'artiste américain Richard Serra, conçues à partir de feuilles de métal qui peuvent également être définies comme des Landmarks.
The inspiration for the project came after experiencing the works of Richard Serra, an American artist known for using metal blades to create his works of art that can be defined as Landmark.
L’ispirazione per il progetto è avvenuta attraverso l’esperienza vissuta all’interno delle opere dell’artista americano Richard Serra, conosciuto per il fatto di creare opere d’arte con fogli di metallo che possono anche essere definiti dei Landmark.
L'intervention architecturale est audacieuse et recherche l'harmonie dans la relation avec l'espace et le paysage environnant sans le défigurer ; à travers des jeux de tension de formes et d'insertion de végétation.
The architectural intervention is daring and aims at a harmonious connection with the surrounding space and landscape, without spoiling it; throughout plays of tension with shapes and insertion into the vegetation.
L’intervento architettonico è audace e cerca un’armonia nella relazione con lo spazio e il paesaggio circostante senza deturparlo; attraverso giochi di tensione di forme ed inserimento del verde.
Pour atteindre cet objectif, des lames courbes en acier corten sont positionnées de manière à surmonter le bois au sud et à orienter les unités et la vue vers le lac. Le rayon de courbure est calculé pour que la flèche de la corde intérieure du cercle ne dépasse pas 1mm par mètre linéaire, rendant ainsi les espaces intérieurs aménageables et revenant à une échelle humaine, tout comme le dualisme présent dans les sculptures de Serra.
In order to reach this goal, curved weathering steel blades are positioned so that, in perspective, they go beyond the woods in the south and direct the units and the view towards the lake. The radius of curvature is measured so that the sagitta of the chord of the circle doesn’t exceed 1 mm per linear metre, making thus the interiors furnishable and going back to a human scale, just like the dualism produced by Richard Serra’s sculptures.
Per raggiungere questo obbiettivo, lame di acciaio corten curvate vengono posizionate in modo da scavalcare il bosco a sud e direzionare le unità e la vista verso il lago. Il raggio della curvatura è calcolato in modo che la freccia della corda interna del cerchio non superi 1mm ogni metro lineare, rendendo così gli spazi interni arredabili e ritornando a una scala umana, proprio come il dualismo presente nelle sculture di Serra.
Compte tenu de la pente, deux blocs distincts ont été créés pour garantir davantage la vue sur le lac aux propriétés qui sont divisées par un système de lames principales et secondaires, pour une subdivision subordonnée à l'intérieur des unités. L’intégration de la végétation suit le concept de la High Line à New York innervant le sol comme une rayure selon la logique des lames, transmuées dans notre cas à la fois horizontalement et verticalement et agissant ainsi simultanément comme une séparation et un lien.
Because of the steepness, we created two different blocks in order to further guarantee the view of the lake to the properties, divided by a system of main and secondary blades to create an internal and subordinate subdivision of the units. The insertion of the vegetation was inspired by New York’s High Line which scratches the pavement just like the blades do. This logic was transposed into our project both horizontally and vertically, thus the blades represent at the same time both a boundary and a bridge.
Data la pendenza, sono stati creati due blocchi distinti per garantire ulteriormente la vista lago alle proprietà che sono divise da un sistema di lame principali e secondarie, per una suddivisione subordinata interna alle unità. L’inserimento del verde segue il concetto della High Line Newyorchese che invade la pavimentazione come con un graffio seguendo la logica delle lame, trasmutata nel nostro caso sia orizzontalmente che verticalmente e fungendo così contemporaneamente da separazione e legame.
