La villa, surplombant les rives du lac Majeur, se caractérise par un volume en terrasses qui épouse la morphologie du terrain. Le bâtiment est composé de deux parties : une base stéréométrique partiellement encastrée dans le sol, caractérisée uniquement par les ouvertures des portes et les fenêtres, destinée à l'espace nuit, et un volume plus léger, correspondant à l'espace de vie et reposant en retrait sur le premier, caractérisé par de grandes baies vitrées et des terrasses couvertes.
The villa, overlooking the banks of Lake Maggiore, features a steep terraced slope that matches the contours of the land. The building is made up of two parts: a stereometric base partially sunk into the ground with its distinctive openings and windows designed for the sleeping quarters and a lighter structure for the living quarters set back from the aforementioned bedrooms area and catching the eye for its reflective glass and covered overhangs.
La villa, affacciata sulle sponde del Lago Maggiore è caratterizzata da un forte dislivello terrazzato che sposa la morfologia del terreno. L’edificio, è composto di due parti: un basamento stereometrico e parzialmente incassato nel terreno, caratterizzato unicamente dai tagli delle aperture e delle finestre, destinato alla zona notte, e un volume più leggero, corrispondente alla zona giorno, appoggiato sul primo in posizione arretrata, caratterizzato da ampie specchiature vetrate e sbalzi coperti.

The ways the living quarters slide towards the mountainside provided the space required to create an observation deck and fully-recessed swimming pool that almost seems to be ensconced in the meticulous structure of the base to form the roof over the main rooms. Interaction with the landscape is emphasised by a movable system of glazing more than 12 metres high that guarantees continuity between the living quarters and observation deck.

La relazione con il paesaggio è sottolineata da una sistema mobile di vetrate di più di 12 metri che garantiscono la continuità tra il salone e il belvedere.

The style of the materials enhances the sobriety and harmony of the main structures, everything from the 60x120 porcelain stoneware slabs laid in regular patterns to cover the base to the light-coloured plaster on the upper floor, the details of the metal window and door frames, the extra-clear glass used for the parapets and windows and the stainless steel tinwork. The building is highly energy efficient and has cutting-edge plant-engineering.
Il linguaggio dei materiali valorizza la sobrietà e l’armonia dei volumi, dalle lastre di gres porcellanato 60x120 posate a corsi regolari del rivestimento del basamento agli intonaci chiari presenti al piano superiore fino ai dettagli dei profili metallici dei serramenti, il cristallo extra-chiaro dei parapetti e delle vetrate o l’acciaio inossidabile della lattoneria. L’edificio è caratterizzato da prestazioni energetiche elevate e da un’impiantistica avanzata.
