La Nouvelle Comédie c’est plus qu’un théâtre : c’est non seulement un lieu de représentation, avec ses deux salles, mais aussi un lieu de création, avec ses grands ateliers de construction.

 

Nouvelle Comédie is more than just a theatre: it is not just two halls for holding shows, it also is a place for creativity with its large construction workshops.

 

La Nouvelle Comédie è più di un teatro: non è solo un luogo di rappresentazione, con le sue due sale, ma anche un luogo di creazione, con i suoi grandi laboratori di costruzione.

Le caractère d’usine à spectacles a été déterminant pour la conception du projet, qui devait être à la fois un équipement hyper-fonctionnel et à la fois un bâtiment singulier avec une identité propre.

 

Its show-factory status derives from the very nature of the project itself, which was supposed to create both a hyper-functional construction and a unique building with its own identity.

 

Il carattere di show factory è stato determinante per la concezione del progetto, che doveva essere sia una struttura iperfunzionale sia un edificio unico con una propria identità.

Le projet dispose les salles de spectacles au cœur du volume, avec une articulation des programmes qui génère en coupe un profil singulier, donnant ainsi son identité au bâtiment. Les espaces de circulations, publics et privés, se situent en façade entourant les programmes auxquels ils donnent accès.

 

The project places the main showrooms in the middle of the construction to create a layout with a very definite profile to give the building its distinctive identity. The public and private circulation spaces are located in the façade that surrounds the various premises.

 

Il progetto pone le sale per spettacoli al centro del volume, con un'articolazione dei programmi che genera in sezione un profilo definito, conferendo così all'edificio la sua identità. Gli spazi di circolazione, pubblici e privati, si trovano sulla facciata che circonda i programmi a cui danno accesso.
