Situé dans la commune de Sollentuna, dans la partie nord de la zone métropolitaine de Stockholm, "Färgskrapan" est une extension du palais de justice d'Attunda. Le bâtiment a un total de 15 étages, conçu comme une série de parallélépipèdes empilés les uns sur les autres, recouverts de lattes en aluminium de 12 couleurs différentes. "Färgskrapan" abrite plusieurs salles d'audience conçues pour répondre aux exigences de sécurité les plus élevées.
”Färgskrapan” is an extension to the Attunda law courts in the northern part of the greater Stockholm metropolitan area. It is located next to the train station in the municipality of Sollentuna, about 12 kilometres north of the central business district in Stockholm. The building has a total of 15 floors, designed as a series of balancing boxes stacked on top of each other, with an outer layer made up of aluminum lamellas in 12 different colors.
Situato nel comune di Sollentuna, nella parte settentrionale dell’area metropolitana di Stoccolma, "Färgskrapan" è un'estensione del tribunale di Attunda. L'edificio ha un totale di 15 piani, concepiti come una serie di parallelepipedi impilati l'uno sull'altro, rivestititi da lamelle di alluminio in 12 diversi colori.
Outre le palais de justice, le bâtiment appartenant à la société Vacse abrite des bureaux commerciaux, des boutiques et des cafés. Cette combinaison de fonctions différentes et la nécessité d'éviter les conflits entre elles ont imposé des solutions particulièrement précises pour la logistique interne et l'organisation du bâtiment.
It contains several courtrooms which have been designed to meet the highest possible security requirements, unprecedented in Sweden. The building is not owned by state authorities but by a private property company, Vacse, and the law courts are one of several tenants together with commercial offices, shops and cafés. This mixture of different functions and the need to avoid conflicts between them has placed very special demands on the internal logistics and organization of the building.
"Färgskrapan" ospita diverse aule giudiziarie progettate per soddisfare i requisiti di sicurezza più elevati possibili. Oltre al tribunale, l’edificio di proprietà della società Vacse, accoglie uffici commerciali, negozi e caffè. Questa combinazione di funzioni diverse e la necessità di evitare conflitti tra di loro ha imposto soluzioni particolarmente accurate per la logistica interna e l'organizzazione dell'edificio.
Vacse et la municipalité de Sollentuna ont voulu créer un bâtiment très visible, capable de servir de point de référence à côté de la gare et en même temps de valoriser l'environnement. Ces besoins ont abouti à une architecture qui offre à la fois contraste et interaction avec le milieu environnant, offrant des espaces ouverts au public au rez-de-chaussée et réduisant l'impact de la barrière créée par le trafic ferroviaire au niveau de la rue.
Vacse and the municipality of Sollentuna have had a pronounced aspiration to create a conspicuous and highly visible building, acting as a landmark next to the train station. Our interpretation of these intentions resulted in a building which offers both contrast and interplay in relation to the surroundings, which provides spaces open to the general public on the ground floor, and has been designed to reduce the impact of the barrier created by the railway running at street level.
Vacse e il comune di Sollentuna volevano creare un edificio di grande visibilità, in grado di fare da punto di riferimento accanto alla stazione ferroviaria e di valorizzare al contempo l’ambiente circostante. Queste esigenze si sono tradotte in un’architettura che offre sia contrasto che interazione rispetto all'ambiente circostante, fornendo spazi aperti al pubblico al piano terra e riducendo l'impatto della barriera creata dalla circolazione ferroviaria a livello della strada.
