Placée au bord de la route elle focalise l'attention sur l'entrée du site naturel de la Montagne du Dragon (Zhulong Shan), exemple typique du paysage traditionnel chinois ?Shanshui? composé de montagnes, de forêts, de nuages ??et d'eau.
An installation by Aurelien Chen recreating an ethereal and abstract version of a traditional Chinese landscape. Above all else, this installation is a landmark placed by the roadside to draw the attention to the entrance of the Dragon Mountain Natural site (Zhulong Shan), a typical example of ?Shanshui? traditional Chinese landscape composed by mountains, forest, clouds and water.
Questa installazione di Aurelien Chen ricrea una versione eterea e astratta di un paesaggio tradizionale cinese. Posto a lato della strada, focalizza l'attenzione sull'ingresso del sito naturale della Montagna del Drago (Zhulong Shan), tipico esempio del paesaggio tradizionale cinese ?Shanshui? composto da montagne, foreste, nuvole e acqua.
Le pavillon offre trois niveaux différents de perception. En approchant du site par la rue, une montagne vibrante composée de 200 poteaux en inox apparaît subtilement au loin. Avec la vitesse, les pôles deviennent une seule surface et les effets créés par les différents matériaux qui composent les mâtes révèlent la forme d'une nouvelle montagne. Alors que le visiteur se rapproche, il découvre un paysage miniature dans lequel il peut se déplacer et se promener. Les mâts deviennent une forêt; une rivière de marbre noir invite le visiteur à marcher vers la vraie montagne qui se détache à l'horizon.
There are three different sequences of approach and just as many levels of perception in this installation. While approaching the site from the street, a vibrant mountain composed by 200 inox poles subtly appears in the distance. With speed, the poles become a single surface and the effects created by the different materials composing the poles reveal the shape of a new mountain. While the visitor moves closer, he discovers a miniature landscape in which he can move and stroll. The poles become a forest; a black marble river invites the visitor to walk towards the real mountain standing out against the horizon.
Il padiglione offre tre diversi livelli di percezione. Avvicinandosi al sito dalla strada, una vibrante montagna composta da 200 pali di acciaio inossidabile appare sottilmente in lontananza. Con la velocità i pali diventano un'unica superficie e gli effetti creati dai diversi materiali che compongono i pali rivelano la forma di una nuova montagna. Les canopées placées entre les mâts pour représenter les nuages ??se révèlent être des miroirs. Les perforations sur les panneaux de miroir créent un jeu d'ombre et de lumière marquant le passage du temps. La nuit, des milliers d'étoiles apparaissent sur mâts perforées au hasard, et donnent forme à une montagne vibrante de lumière.
The canopies placed above the visitor’s head to represent clouds, turn out to be mirrors. The perforations on the mirror panels create an interplay of light and shadow marking the passing of time. At night, thousands of stars appear on the poles, perforated randomly, and give shape to a mountain vibrant with light.
