von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects (gmp) a remporté le concours en deux phases pour le plan directeur et la gare ferroviaire prévus dans le projet du développement high-tech de Chengdu Future City.
In a two-stage urban design competition for the new high-tech Chengdu Future City development, the masterplan and the design for the railway station project submitted by von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects (gmp) have been successful.
von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects (gmp) ha vinto il concorso in due fasi per il progetto del masterplan e della stazione ferroviaria previsti nel piano di sviluppo high-tech di Chengdu Future City.
La superficie d'environ 460 hectares comprendra des instituts de recherche, une université, des bureaux, des commerces et des logements. Le point de départ est la gare ferroviaire, Futian Station, qui, dans une première phase de construction, sera repensée et développée par gmp pour former le centre urbain. Le projet universitaire a été confié à l'Office néerlandais de l'architecture métropolitaine (OMA).
The site area of about 460 hectares will be developed to include research institutes, an university, offices, retail, and housing in close proximity to each other. The starting point will be the railway station, Futian Station, which, in the first building phase, will be redesigned and developed by gmp to form the urban center. The design of the university has been assigned to the Dutch practice Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA).
L'area di circa 460 ettari includerà istituti di ricerca, un’università, uffici, negozi e alloggi. Il punto di partenza è la stazione ferroviaria, Futian Station, che, in una prima fase di costruzione, sarà ridisegnata e sviluppata da gmp per formare il centro urbano. Il progetto dell’università è stato affidato allo studio olandese Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA).
La gare de Futian sera le cœur de cette future ville high-tech. Dans la première phase de développement du projet, la gare existante sera agrandie et équipée de nouvelles toitures sous la forme de structures en parapluie rapprochées. Dans cette première phase, sera également construite la plate-forme d'observation hexagonale tournante appelée Eye of the Future qui, telle une sculpture, émerge du parc au-dessus de la gare et offre de vastes vues panoramiques.
Futian Station will be the core of this future high-tech city. In the first construction phase, the existing railway station will be expanded and fitted with new roofs in the form of closely arranged umbrella-like structures. Another part of the first construction phase is the hexagonal rotating viewing platform called Eye of the Future that, like a sculpture rises from the park landscape above the railway station and provides wide views across the terrain.
Futian Station sarà il cuore di questa futura città high-tech. Nella prima fase di sviluppo del progetto, la stazione ferroviaria esistente sarà ampliata e dotata di nuove coperture sotto forma di strutture ad ombrello disposte in modo ravvicinato. In questa prima fase verrà inoltre costruita la piattaforma panoramica esagonale rotante chiamata Eye of the Future che, come una scultura emerge al di sopra della stazione dal parco e offre ampie viste panoramiche.
