Pavilion of Italy, "Resilient Communities" by Alessandro Melis
“Communautés Résilientes” est le titre choisi par Alessandro Melis pour le Pavillon Italie. Le projet, promu par le Ministère de la Culture Italien, se concentre sur les défis de l'architecture face au changement climatique en explorant les principales urgences et opportunités de notre présent.
“Resilient Communities” is the title Alessandro Melis has chosen for the Italian Pavilion. The project, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, hinges around the challenges that architecture will have to take on in face of climate change, exploring the main critical issues and opportunities in the present-day world.
“Comunità Resilienti” è il titolo scelto da Alessandro Melis per il Padiglione Italia. Il progetto, promosso dalla Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea del Ministero della Cultura, ruota attorno alle sfide che interpellano l’architettura a fronte del cambiamento climatico esplorando quali siano le principali criticità e opportunità del nostro presente.
L'exposition elle-même, comme l'explique le commissaire, est conçue comme “une communauté résiliente composée de 14 ‘sous-communautés’, imaginées comme des laboratoires opérationnels, des centres de recherche ou des études de cas, selon deux axes fondamentaux.
As the curator himself explains, the exhibition is designed to be a “resilient community composed of 14 ‘sub-communities’, such as work laboratories, research centres and study cases, focused along two main lines.
La mostra stessa, come spiega il curatore, è pensata come “una comunità resiliente costituita da 14 ‘sotto comunità’, intese come laboratori operativi, centri di ricerca o casi studio, secondo due fondamentali direttrici.
Une réflexion sur l'état de l'art de la résilience urbaine en Italie et dans le monde à travers la présentation des œuvres d'éminents architectes italiens, et un focus sur les méthodologies, l'innovation, la recherche avec des expérimentations interdisciplinaires entre l'architecture, la botanique, l'agronomie, la biologie, l'art et la médecine”.
An analysis of the state-of-the-art in terms of resilience in Italy and around the world by displaying works by eminent Italian architects, and a focus on work methods, innovation and research through interdisciplinary experimentation straddled between architecture, botany, agronomics, biology, art and medicine”.
