The 42nd edition of Cersaie, scheduled to take place in Bologna from 22nd-26th September, will have a new entrance way designed by Dario Curatolo. It will feature a sequence of macro-images focusing on the beauty of the materials and ceramic products on display bringing out their shape, colour, functionality and technology.

The additional 10,000 square metres of exhibition space compared to 2024 called for a tweaking of the layout of stands covering a total of 155,000 square metres, which all already been snapped up by exhibitors. The four pavilions for showcasing bathroom products are aet at an intersection and surrounded by the eight pavilions housing the world's latest product innovations in ceramic sheets and tiles.

Malls 31 and 32 of the trade fair bring together new product sectors, such as 'other prestige surfaces', such as wood and marble, alongside 'interior and exterior finishes'; the 'home' of technological start-ups at the service of the building industry is in Mall 37. Mall 19 is also new and provides exhibition facilities for the so-called ‘Installation City’ and companies operating in this sector, an increasingly key part of the ceramics industry.

Another innovation in Malls 21 - 22 is the Bathroom Architecture ‘Let's Talk’ Lounge, an installation set up by Angelo Dall'Aglio and Davide Vercelli, which adds to the range of cultural activities scheduled. Further events are being hosted in the ‘Palazzo dei Congressi’ (Conference Hall), where a master class will also be held. Meanwhile, ‘The Square’ in the Service Centre will host architecture/design conferences and an International Press Conference. The “I cafè della Stampa” (Press Coffee Breaks) programme will be taking place in Malls 29 – 30 in conjunction with leading media partners.

Cersaie - promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised by Edi.Cer. spa in partnership with Bologna Fiere and with the support of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Agenzia ICE – will once again be a key business-cultural platform for all the players in the ceramics and bathroom furnishing supply chain worldwide.
